Prompts, Penalties, and Voting

Prompts will be posted on the following days, each of them three weeks apart. Fanworks are due on the day before the posting of the next prompt, 11:59 EST. Late submissions will not be accepted.

However, if something comes up, your team needs to switch captains, etc., please pm us on dreamwidth or at our tumblr here, and we'll try to come up with a solution.

Submission Guidelines

All types of fanworks are allowed (from fics to fanmixes to art to cosplay to edits), however the work posted must be your own. Art theft of any kind will not be tolerated under any circumstance.

A first time violation will cause your ship team to incur a penalty for that round (no points earned from any of their works that round) and a firm request to change ship captains.

A second time violation will result in immediate disqualification.

Works must be either uploaded or linked in the comment section of the prompt post. They also must be posted behind a cut and tagged with the ship and spoilers (if any) in the header. Once again, if you have any problems, contact us and we'll come up with something.

We encourage artists to sign/watermark their works (especially if they aren't posting it anywhere else) and if they're posting to tumblr or ao3, to use the #ygoshipolympics tag (must be in the first five tags to be searchable) or post it to our collection here.

Voting

Voting will take place right after a submission period ends (i.e. the first week of the next prompt period). We'll open up a multiple choice google form and everyone can vote for their favorites. Each team gets points depending on certain things.

Each entry (max 3 for a round)	50 points
Bonus challenge (for each prompt)	15 points
Each vote	5 points

Anyone, whether they're part of a ship team or not, can vote. However we'll be limiting the form to registered google users only to make sure everyone votes only once. If you don't have a google account, pm us an we'll accept your vote that way. Tumblr anon votes will not be accepted.
